#pantoffelheld for a day – Open House and Opening of the first #werbegalerie in Hanover
On Saturday, February 11, 2017, the concept and advertising agency opens MIU24® its doors and invites you to the festive inauguration of the first #werbegalerie in Hanover one. Under the motto “#slipperhero for a day” the creative connection between art and advertising is celebrated – in the historic ambiance of the Heinrich Wilhelm Hahn House.
A new concept: Advertising meets Art
"How much art is there in advertising? Is every graphic design a work of art? We want to raise these and other questions with the #werbegalerie and get people talking about them," explains Jürgen La-Greca, co-founder of MIU24®.
The new advertising gallery, located in the historic book storage building, will present regularly changing exhibitions. Planned are:
- Changing advertising art exhibitions every three months.
- Monthly cultural eventsthat connect history and digitization.
Invitation with a special dress code
The opening party on February 11th promises a unique atmosphere. Guests are asked to follow the special dress code to follow:
- Festive clothing combined with house slippers.
- Everyday shoes are swapped for cozy slippers brought from home.
"This little stylistic clash symbolizes our goal: combining tradition and modernity," adds Jürgen La-Greca.
A place with history – for a creative future
The premises of the Heinrich Wilhelm Hahn House, less than 24 steps from the Lower Saxony State Parliament, offer the perfect backdrop for the symbiosis of digitalization and history. The historic book repository is brought to life with fresh ideas and a digital spirit, while the advertising gallery serves as a place for inspiration and creative encounters.

- From 3:00 PM: Guest reception and exchange in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Official inauguration of the #werbegalerie with insights into the first exhibition.
- Cultural supporting program, which addresses the connection between art and advertising.
