It was one of those moments you don't forget: When Jürgen and Marco Vito La-Greca together with Dirk Maas, Managing Director of the Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB), on the stage of the deGUT 2025 stood to present the Regional Hero 2025 Award to Rave The Planet palpable energy filled the air. Not a show effect, not a PR event – but genuine, lived appreciation. Applause that seemed to go on forever accompanied the moment when business, culture, and humanity merged.

A moment of joy for MiU24, EINSplusZWEI, and Messe Berlin
"It was a real moment of happiness for our team," recalls Marco Vito La-Greca. "People who are happy for each other and celebrate successes together – that is the true core of our actions." Because at MiU24ONEplusTWO", and their partners are not concerned with numbers, but with attitude, impact, and values. Even upon entering the trade fair, the anticipation was palpable. Visitors recognized familiar faces, the atmosphere was electrifying. No one suspected that the deGUT would experience an emotional highlight that day.Rave The Planet, a non-profit limited liability company that has been committed to peace, cohesion, and diversity for years, had long set the community in motion. The fact that this commitment was honored at an economic fair was a clear signal: The future is created where values have an impact.

Rave The Planet – more than music, more than movement
From the very beginning, it was clear to the team at MiU24clear: Rave The Planet – plays outside of classic evaluation criteria. "A team as diverse and colorful as a DJ set – full of harmonies, but also with real contrasts," describes Jürgen La-Greca. "Being called crazy has never stopped us. Because 'ver-rückt' (crazy/unhinged) just means thinking outside the box – and both Rave The Planet and MiU24 are capable of that." Dr. MotteEllen Dosch-Roeingh and Timm Zeiss lead the organization with a clear vision: music as the universal language of peace. Not empty phrases, but lived commitment. Rave The Planet stands for a modern understanding of culture that combines social responsibility with joie de vivre – for a togetherness that sounds louder than any difference.

IBB and Dirk Maas – Economy, Support, and Responsibility
Moderator Dirk Maas, Managing Director of the IBB Business Team GmbH, the award ceremony opened with visible enthusiasm – and with a clear commitment to Berlin's economic development:
As the management of IBB Business Team GmbH, we are proud to support Berlin founders, small and medium-sized enterprises, and owners of residential properties with a wide range of funding opportunities, together with our team. These programs lay the foundation for successful business start-ups, sustainable company growth, the optimization of urban energy consumption, and future-oriented mobility.

These words formed the economic foundation of the event – a conscious counterpoint to the evening's cultural energy. Maas made it clear that economic support and social responsibility are not opposites, but rather strengthen each other. Thus, the stage at deGUT became a symbol that economic strength and humanity are two sides of the same coin.

Rave meets deGUT – when entrepreneurship learns to dance
After the award ceremony, the panel talk began"Rave meets deGUT", moderated by Dirk Maas. The discussion round united personalities from business, film, research, and culture: Ellen Dosch-Roeingh, founder of Rave The PlanetDr. Motte, founder and managing director, Timm Zeiss, Managing Director, DJ Tomasz Guiddo, who provided the musical backdrop for the panel, Britta Mischer of Twenty-Five Films, who is currently producing an ARD documentary about Rave The Planet, Jürgen and Marco La-Greca of MiU24 / Regional Hero, as well as Jörn Krug from the University of Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Together they discussed how cultural movements and economic sustainability can go hand in hand. How can the spirit of a subculture be transferred to modern entrepreneurship?
How can creative visions become viable business models without losing their soul?

"We support people based on skills, not on labor power", explainedEllen Dosch-Roeingh. "Every person has strengths that can be valued and contributed." The panel discussion was recorded and will soon be available on YouTube – released – as an inspiring dialogue between business, culture, and attitude.

A film for peace – Britta Mischer announces great things
Another goosebump moment followed when Britta Mischer of Twenty-Five Films – her new film project about Rave The Planet announced. They are currently producing an ARD documentary, who champion the cultural work and societal influence of Dr. Motte and his team. "We want to show that this movement is far more than music – it is a statement for cohesion and humanity," explained Mischer.

The film accompanies Rave The Planeton his way, Berlin's techno culture as intangible heritageUNESCO World Heritage to be recognized – a project with heart, rhythm, and depth that honors the cultural identity of an entire generation.

Encounters, Beats, and Champagne
On stage, the Rave The Planet team accepted the certificate and “a bottle of Nicolas Feuillatte champagne” – in the name of all volunteers, supporters, and participants. Dr. Motte symbolically raised his glass, Ellen Dosch-Roeingh smiled gratefully, Timm Zeiss added: “Especially creative minds need structured people in the background. As a team, we stand up for each other – that’s what Rave The Planet is all about.” Then followed what many visitors will never forget: DJ Tomasz Guiddo got the exhibition hall moving with his live set. Entrepreneurs, founders, politicians, and artists danced side by side – a moment that proved: Business can also celebrate.

Then followed a moment that many visitors will probably never forget: DJ Tomasz Guiddo got the exhibition hall moving with his live set. Entrepreneurs, founders, politicians, and artists danced side by side – a moment that proved: Business is allowed to celebrate too.

A degree that resonates
As the last beats faded and the hall lights slowly went out, a feeling remained that no press release can capture: Gratitude.gratitude for people who get involved. For a trade fair that builds bridges. And for the realization that economy, culture, and peace are not opposites. Jürgen La-Greca put it aptly: "Rave The Planet reminds us that business only makes sense when it serves people."

A sentence that remains – just like the applause that evening. Because one thing was clear: The Regional Hero 2025 dances for peace.
